Key Responsibilities
* Ensure all post cast checks are carried out by conducting visual and measurement checks to finished units
* Ensure NCRs are raised in an accurate and timely manner.
* Ensure that vesting photographs are taken for all units produced.
* Ensure the accurate extent of finished is marked clearly and legibly on each panel.
* Work with other members of the Quality team and production personnel to reduce and eliminate non-conformances.
* Utilise technology i.e. QC tablets, in driving a more efficient working ethos.
* Responsible for the accurate creation and storage of QC records and drawings.
* Ensure you use Personal Protective Clothing and Equipment in a correct manner. Ensure that protective clothing and equipment are issued and used as appropriate.
Required Qualifications/ Expertise
* 3rd Level qualification in Engineering/Construction desirable.
* Qualification in Lean Manufacturing ( Yellow or Green Belt) desirable.
* Excellent computer literacy.
* 2+ years' experience operating in a similar role.
* Ability to read technical drawings.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Analytical thinker with demonstrated problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work well under pressure, prioritise and plan effectively within a strict deadline environment.
