Your Responsibilities As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will: Provide targeted support to pupils with SEN on a one-to-one basis and in small groups Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities Support the implementation, monitoring, and review of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) Help create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment Work closely with teachers, the SENCO, and external specialists to support pupil progress Adapt strategies and approaches to meet individual learning needs What We’re Looking For GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths Experience supporting children with SEN A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach Strong communication and teamwork skills A commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare Level 2 Safeguarding certification (or willingness to complete training) Why Work with Teaching Personnel?
