May Gardens Little Learners are looking for a dedicated and career driven canddiate to join their team. The overall aim of our staffing policy will be to establish an environment which promotes staff loyalty and commitment. This is a great opportunity to gain an early years qualification whilst obtaining valuable experience in a nursery setting.
Working week
Monday - Thursday, 08:00 - 18:00. 30 minute break
37.5 hours per week total
Wage
£7.55 per hour (wage rises to National Minimum Wage after 12 months if over 19+)

Duties and Responsibilities
* Ensure that all children receive consistent and continual care in all aspects of their development by their key person
* Provide an environment where children can feel safe and secure and also gain confidence in themselves and others
* Ensure that the health and the well–being of the child are considered with utmost importance, and that individual caring and development needs are met
* Ensure parents are kept informed of all aspects of their child’s care and development
* Ensure the implementation of all short- and medium-term plans.
* Ensure a smooth and positive setting process for all individual children when changing rooms and key person

Education and Qualification
Maths and English at grade A-C (4-9) or functional skills equivalent.
