Senior Residential Support Worker - Children’s Residential Home (EBD)
Location: WolverhamptonSalary: £13.80 per hour + £50 per sleep-inShifts: 2 days on / 4 days off, with 8-10 sleep-ins per monthEssential: Must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle
Our client is seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Residential Support Worker to join the opening of their brand-new 3-bed EBD (Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties) residential home in Wolverhampton.
This is an exciting opportunity to join an established company with a strong track record of delivering high-quality care for children and young people. The first home, rated Good by Ofsted, opened five years ago — and as they grow, they remain committed to providing a nurturing environment where both staff and young people can thrive.
About the Role
* Lead and inspire a team of dedicated care professionals in their new EBD home.
* Create and maintain a safe, supportive, and positive environment for young people.
* Work on a consistent 2-on / 4-off rota with regular sleep-ins.
* Play a key role in shaping the home’s culture and ensuring excellent care standards.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in a children’s residential care setting (EBD experience is desirable).
* Level 3 or 4 Working with Children and Young People
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support a team.
* Flexibility to work sleep-ins and adhere to the set rota pattern.
* A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
