Job Overview
Local Care Direct is a non‑profit social enterprise operating 24/7 across West Yorkshire. This role involves acting as a Dental Triage Nurse within our Contact Centre, responding to calls from NHS 111, providing evidence‑based clinical assessment, prioritisation and advice over the telephone in line with NHS Pathways Dental Module and relevant protocols.
Responsibilities
* Provide evidence‑based clinical assessment, prioritisation and advice over the telephone.
* Select patients appropriate for urgent dental care appointments and prioritise need, taking into account patient circumstances and preferences.
* Give self‑care guidance and information to patients not suitable for urgent appointments.
* Work within the 24/7 dental service, including out‑of‑hours shifts (Mon‑Fri 18:00‑08:00 and Saturday/Sunday).
* Operate in a part‑time capacity within the Contact Centre.

Hourly Rate
£15.68 per hour during hours (Mon‑Fri 08:00‑18:00); £16.68 per hour during out‑of‑hours (Mon‑Fri 18:00‑08:00 and all day Saturday/Sunday).
