We have a close partnership with Industry Leaders in Metering Technologies and due to continued growth in this sector, we are looking to recruit a Business Development Manager to help us deliver the metering platform to our customers, to enable efficient energy management, analysis & reduction. This is a varied role and you will be selling directly to the customer, working with Metering Companies, analysing data and using that to drive sales, whilst working closely with our installation teams to ensure end-to-end service for the customer. The job doesnt stop there youll be analysing and using that data from the meters to advise customers on their options for energy reduction, working with our sustainability departments to ensure that we advise and offer our customers the solutions to their energy reduction and sustainability needs. We are committed to training & developing our teams skills so full training will be given in our systems and processes to enable you to fulfil this role. The role will include, but is not limited to: Identifying and qualifying leads for metering and measurement solutions; Developing and maintaining relationships with key account contacts and prospective clients within target sectors; Understanding clients needs and providing tailored solutions that meet their requirements; Understanding data produced by metering and provide regular updates to customers; Negotiating contracts and closing sales deals. The individual will need to be/have: The ability to sell ideas, products, and services. Excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask. A strategic and inventive mind. Excellent customer service skills. Cross-functional collaboration. Technical skills to understand and propose products or solutions by focusing on the clients requirements. Solid IT skills and knowledge of necessary software applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other statistical analysis software. The ability to motivate themselves and others. A solid understanding of business and marketing principles.
