Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to work as part of a team who will provide a support service to Home Carers working to support vulnerable people living in the community council wide. This includes scheduling and allocation of work. There is a requirement to use IT, and you should have an interest and good understanding of IT programmes. There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the Organisation.
Location and Hours
Location: Clydesdale
Hours: 29hrs per week, permanent
Work Pattern: working 7 days over 14, including every second weekend, a combination of early shift and back shift, in accordance with a roster (2 weeks early shift and 2 weeks back shift)
Salary
Salary / Hourly Rate: £33,068 - £34,036
The grade for this post is Grade 2 Level 4 - £20.66 to £21.25 per hour. However, as this is a shift working post you will receive an additional 1 or 2 increments (depending on your shift pattern) and this will be consolidated into your salary; therefore your salary will commence on either £21.25 or £21.87 per hour.

Responsibilities
* Provide a support service to Home Carers to assist vulnerable people living in the community; this includes scheduling and allocation of work.

* Work in accordance with a roster that includes early shift, back shift, and weekends; participate in the shift pattern and related increments for unsocial hours.
* Attend training provided by South Lanarkshire Council, including induction and ongoing learning and development.
Requirements and Qualifications
* Compassionate, patient and adaptable with an understanding and respect for the rights of others.
* Willingness to work flexible evening and weekend hours as required.
* Ability to work as part of a team and support others in achieving high-quality care outcomes.
* Compliance with safeguarding, data protection and information governance standards as part of service delivery.
* Desirable but not necessarily essential: experience with scheduling, rostering, and IT systems; willingness to undertake required training.
* Compliance with recruitment checks including PVG Scheme where applicable; Overseas Criminal Records Check if applicable.
