We’re looking for an organised and analytical Application Support Analyst to join our Chemistry Laboratories at ALS Chatteris. You’ll be at the heart of our digital transformation, supporting the move from paper-based systems to efficient, data-driven workflows through the LIMS+ application. Working alongside our LIMS+ Development, Business Analysis, and Laboratory Management teams, you’ll help shape how we deliver accurate, reliable testing results in a modern digital environment.
The Position
* Location: Chatteris
* Hours Per Week: 40
* Shift: Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:30
* Contract: Full Time and Permanent
* Annual Salary: £31,631.00
The Day-to-Day
* Analyse laboratory processes and testing workflows to identify digital requirements.
* Collaborate with the Laboratory Management and Business Analysis teams to define development needs.
* Investigate system issues and coordinate with technical teams to deliver solutions.
* Manage digital workflow requests through the Service Desk and ensure timely responses.
* Support system testing, training, and implementation of new digital workflows.
* Review and refine existing workflows to enhance efficiency and performance.
The Essentials
* Awareness of ISO 17025 quality requirements and laboratory quality systems.
* Experience working with LIMS or similar laboratory information systems.
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines effectively.
* Confidence working collaboratively across technical and laboratory teams.
* Experience with Microsoft Office VBA or systems implementation (desirable).
