A specialist ground engineering consultancy in Manchester is looking for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer from either a contractor or consultancy background who is ready to take the next step into a leadership role.
You will play a key role in delivering complex geotechnical projects, mentoring junior engineers, and helping lead a highly skilled technical team within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.
The Role
Leading and managing geotechnical projects from tender through to delivery
Supervising and mentoring junior engineers and site staff
Overseeing ground investigations and site operations
Producing and reviewing factual and interpretive reports
Providing technical guidance on foundation design and ground solutions
Client liaison and project management responsibilities
Supporting team growth and developmentRequirements
Experience in a Senior Geotechnical Engineer or similar role
Background in either consultancy or contractor environments
Strong technical knowledge of ground investigation and geotechnical design
Experience managing projects and leading teams
Degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Engineering Geology, Civil Engineering, or related field
