The Role As an Accounts Assistant, you'll support a small but busy accounts team, playing a key role in maintaining accurate records and ensuring smooth financial operations. You'll be involved in a wide range of tasks across the month-end process, payments, reconciliations, and more, with scope to grow your skills in a collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities: Perform daily bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations Process supplier invoices, employee expenses, and credit card payments Maintain the fixed asset register and post monthly depreciation journals Manage prepayments and accruals schedules, including related month-end journals Support the credit control function during absences or peak periods Assist in month-end close processes and provide ad hoc support across the finance team Your Profile This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, motivated, and looking to build a long-term career in finance within a growing business.
