A day in the life of a Shop Manager will involve:
* Leading a team that provides a brilliant shopping experience for your customers.
* Working on the shop floor and coordinating activity behind the scenes; no two days are the same.
* Designing the perfect layout and environment that helps connect your customers to our cause.
* Being responsible for achieving financial targets and inducting, training, and managing new staff and volunteers.
* Representing the British Red Cross to a high standard and embodying our core values.
To be a successful Shop Manager, you’ll need:
* Retail experience at supervisory level, delivering outstanding customer service, and comfortable with organisational and cash handling duties.
* Proven management skills to develop and inspire your team.
* An entrepreneurial mindset to work towards targets and use your initiative to achieve results.
* Proficiency with a PC and proven IT skills.
* A passion for the British Red Cross cause and the ability to promote the shop as the charity retailer of choice in your community.
