Location: Just outside Banchory

Activus Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a well-established Farm & Estate company with extensive groundworks, agricultural, and plant operations.
Due to continued growth, our client is looking to recruit an experienced Mechanic to join their team, working from a new, purpose-built workshop.
The Role
This is a hands-on position suited to a skilled and reliable mechanic with experience across Plant, Agricultural Machinery, and/or HGVs. You’ll play a key role in keeping the fleet and equipment maintained, safe, and operational.
Key Responsibilities

Working from a new, modern workshop facility
*
Carrying out general servicing and maintenance on Plant & HGVs
*
Diagnosing and repairing breakdowns
*
Ensuring machinery is kept to a high operational and safety standard
*
Overseeing day-to-day activity within the workshop
*
Liaising with the wider operations team as required
Requirements
*
Proven mechanical experience with Plant, Agricultural Machinery, or HGVs
*
Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
*
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
*
Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
Desirable (but not essential)
*
Experience operating plant or agricultural machinery
*
HGV Licence
