Location: West Midlands – covering Birmingham, Shropshire, Bristol & Manchester. Remote working available with occasional travel to the office.
Hours: 40 hours per week – Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.
Responsibilities
* Deliver PPM tasks such as water hygiene checks and emergency lighting across Kier‑occupied offices.
* Perform reactive maintenance tasks, including electrical, plumbing, mechanical and general repairs.
* Supervise contracted works and liaise with clients and subcontractors.
* Use a tablet to manage PPM and reactive works.
* Carry out building inspections and update site logbooks.
Requirements
* Full clean driving licence (a van will be provided).
* Experience delivering mobile maintenance in a commercial environment.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Level 3 Electrical trade qualification (e.g. NVQ/City & Guilds 2360, 2330, 2356, 2357, AM1/AM2 or equivalent).
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certificate (BS 7671:2018 / Level 3 C&G 2382).
Desirable
* Initial Verification of Electrical Installations (Level 3 C&G 2391‑50 or equivalent).
* Periodic Inspection, Testing and Certification of Electrical Installations (Level 3 C&G 2391‑51 or equivalent).
* Combined Testing and Inspection of Electrical Installations (Level 3 C&G 2391‑52 or equivalent).
