Temporary opportunity for 2 – 3 months
An excellent opportunity has now arisen for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join a client based in Hatfield.
Duties of an Accounts Assistant:
* Process purchase invoices and sales invoices accurately and promptly
* Maintain and reconcile supplier and customer accounts
* Prepare and process payments (e.g. BACS)
* Assist with expenses payments
* Monitor and follow-up on outstanding receivables
* Maintain and update financial spreadsheets and databases
* Assist with bank reconciliations
* File and organise financial documents for audit and compliance purposes
* Liaise with suppliers, clients, and operational teams regarding finance-related queries
* Assist with VAT returns
* Undertake administrative tasks, such as filing and printing.
What we would like from you:
* Proven experience within an Accounts role
* Experience using SAGE 50
* Strong attention to detail
* Excellent communication skills; written and verbal
* Ability to work independently
