Job Description
We are recruiting for a dedicated and compassionate Inclusion Support Practitionerto work within a supportive and welcoming primary school in the Daventry area. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about ensuring all pupils, particularly those with additional needs, are able to access education and thrive within an inclusive environment. Please note that you must be able to drive to be considered for this role as there is limited public transport available in this location.
You will work closely with teaching staff and the SEN team to provide targeted support, helping pupils overcome barriers to learning and fully engage in school life.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEND or additional needs
* Support the delivery of tailored learning activities within the classroom
* Promote positive social, emotional, and behavioural development
* Assist in implementing individual learning and intervention plans
* Encourage pupil participation and inclusive classroom engagement
* Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and support staff
* Monitor and record pupil progress where required

* Experience working with children or young people, ideally within an education setting
* A strong understanding of SEND, SEMH, or additional learning needs
* A patient, adaptable, and proactive approach
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
