Commercial Coordinator
* Location: South Essex
* Job Type: Full-time
* Salary: £28,000 to £35,000
We are seeking a dedicated Commercial Coordinator to join a dedicated team. This role involves handling worldwide export shipments, monitoring financial documents, and coordinating various administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient operations in line with company procedures and compliance standards.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Handle worldwide export shipments including associated documentation.
* Monitor customer Letters of Credit and Bank Guarantees.
* Plan and coordinate the dispatch of customer orders in liaison with project engineers and workshops.
* Prepare and issue customer invoices and dispatch documentation, ensuring compliance with Letters of Credit and/or other agreed terms.
* Monitor customer payments and coordinate supplier orders in accordance with company procedures using Pegasus Opera software.
* Prepare job costings and issue monthly Job Progress summaries based on Progress Meetings.
* Issue monthly customer account summaries and prepare management accounting documents, including cash flows and analyses as required by Directors.
* Prepare annual analyses in preparation for the yearly audit.
* Perform other general administrative functions as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within a commercial or logistics environment.
* Strong understanding of export documentation and financial securities like Letters of Credit and Bank Guarantees.
* Proficiency in Pegasus Opera software or similar financial management tools.
* Excellent planning and coordination skills.
* Ability to prepare detailed reports and summaries for management.
* Strong administrative and organisational skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
