Our client, a rapidly growing and profitable business services company, based in Chesterfield, is seeking a proactive Management Accountant to join its finance team. This is a key position, offering the chance to work closely with operational leaders while ensuring robust financial control and insightful reporting.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
Producing timely and accurate monthly financial statements, including profit & loss, balance sheet and variance analysis
Supporting the month-end close process and contributing to group-level reporting
Overseeing regular payroll activity and ensuring compliance with relevant processes
Analysing service costs and profitability to support commercial decisions
Providing financial input to operational teams and assisting with performance monitoring
Helping to shape financial forecasts, annual budgets, and audit preparation
Supervising and coaching a junior finance team member
Recommending improvements to internal systems, controls, and reporting toolsWhat You’ll Bring:
Professionally qualified or actively studying (CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
A strong foundation in management accounting, financial reporting, accounting procedures, and payroll
Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to analyse data and explain insights clearly
Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with different teams
A hands-on attitude, with a focus on solving problems and improving processes
Experience working in a business services or similar professional environment is a plus
