We are currently seeking to appoint a Cleaner to work alongside our existing team and to undertake duties as directed by the Facilities Manager/School Business Manager. The Role The successful candidate will help ensure that our school remains a clean, safe and welcoming environment for pupils, staff and visitors. Duties may include: Cleaning classrooms, corridors and communal areas Cleaning toilets and washroom facilities Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and dusting Cleaning and sanitising surfaces and touch points Replenishing cleaning and hygiene supplies Following health and safety procedures and COSHH guidelines Undertaking additional cleaning tasks as required by the Facilities Manager About the Candidate The Ideal Candidate: Self-motivated and reliable A good team player Takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided The position is permanent, subject to the successful completion of a probationary review period.
