We're currently recruiting for Security Officers to join our Bank. You'll work on a zero-hour contract, giving you flexibility over how and where you choose to work. We are looking for individuals who can deal with various challenges and maintain security to protect people, property, and prevent crime at University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust. Security officers may be required to work across all five sites: Royal Derby Hospital, London Road Community Hospital, Queen Hospital Burton, Sir Robert Peel Community Hospital, and Samuel Johnson Community Hospital.
The role may be physically and emotionally demanding as you will work as part of a small team overseeing all clinical and non-clinical areas of the site to maintain a secure environment.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a security role
* Good communication skills and ability to receive and deal with routine confidential information
* Good interpersonal skills
* Ability to remain calm and handle aggressive behaviour
* Ability to work in and outside the hospital
* Good standard of numeracy and literacy
