Overview
Bede's is currently looking for a dedicated & passionate individual to join our Nursery team as a Nursery Key Person to cover Maternity Leave for 1 year. Our nursery is located next to our Prep School in Eastbourne.
Responsibilities
* Report to our Room Leaders; provide an outstanding educational and pastoral experience to allow pupils to flourish within Bede’s Nursery.
* Deliver activities and provide pastoral care of the highest quality, maximising pupils’ learning and wellbeing.
* Deliver planned sessions that are enjoyable and ensure that the EYFS Curriculum is delivered effectively.
* Communicate professionally with colleagues, children and parents, both verbally and in writing; maintain confidentiality; safeguarding.
Requirements
* Applicants must have an EYFS Level 3 Qualification or above before applying for this position.
Details
* Fixed Term position covering Maternity Leave for 1 year
* 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
* Tuesday to Friday, 8:00 am - 6:00 pm with an unpaid 45-minute break per day
* Start ASAP until August 2026
* Salary: £24,308.60 per annum (£12.60 per hour)
