Salary: £26,000 – £30,000 per annum

KPI Education are partnering with a well-regarded secondary school in Hounslow to appoint a motivated and professional Graduate Cover Supervisor. This role offers invaluable experience managing classrooms and delivering pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects.
The Role
As a Graduate Cover Supervisor, you will take responsibility for classes in the absence of the regular teacher. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop behaviour management skills and classroom presence in a supportive school environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Delivering pre-set lesson plans across KS3 and KS4
* Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
* Ensuring pupils remain engaged and on task
* Providing feedback to teaching staff on lesson progress
* Supporting departments during non-cover periods
* Building positive and professional relationships with pupils
You will gain exposure to a wide variety of subjects and teaching styles, providing excellent preparation for a future in education.

Who We’re Looking For
* A 2:1 or First-Class degree in any subject
* Strong academic background (good GCSE & A-Level results)
* A clear interest in pursuing a teaching career
* Confident communicator with natural authority
* Resilient, adaptable and calm under pressure
* Previous tutoring, mentoring or youth experience desirable but not essential
This role would particularly suit graduates who want to test themselves in front of a class and develop genuine classroom leadership experience.
