Yorkshire Water Contract – Lanes / SUS. We are recruiting for a Network Technician to join our team, delivering exceptional customer service and innovative operational solutions across Area, Region. Due to a contract win we are looking for applicants all around the Yorkshire Regions.
Location: Bradford.
Responsibilities
* Maintain great customer service and communication
* Adhere to company absence reporting procedure
* Update and complete site documentation using electronic tablet
* Ensure all works are carried out in line with approved method statements and safe system of work
* Perform daily vehicle checks and maintenance to ensure road worthiness
* Report any issues or hazards by following company procedures
* Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment
* Operate machinery and tools safely and efficiently to assist with various tasks
* Maintain equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working condition
* Wearing and maintaining in good condition any Personal Protective Equipment provided for your protection and bringing to your supervisor’s attention any defects or shortcomings with the equipment
* Operate high-pressure water jetting equipment and CCTV sewer pipes
* Knowledge and direction of drainage systems
* Conduct surveys and inspections of existing drainage systems
* Analyse and interpret data from surveys and inspections
* Ensure that all drainage systems comply with plans
Experience and Qualifications
* Full UK driving license (Required)
* Water Jetting Association Red or blue book (required)
* Banksman
* Manual Handling
* Emergency First Aid
* NRSWA
* EUSR National Water Hygiene
* Asbestos Awareness
* CPC Driver Training (HGV only)
* Slinger and Signaller
* Abrasive Wheels
Full training in the above will be provided if not already obtained.
