We are on the search for a Principal Systems Engineer to work on cutting‑edge maritime and underwater defence technologies delivering mission‑critical capability to allied naval forces worldwide.
What you will be doing:
* Leading systems engineering activities across the full lifecycle
* Defining and managing complex requirements and traceability
* Developing secure system architectures and interface definitions
* Supporting integration, verification, validation and qualification activities
* Collaborating with software, electrical and mechanical engineering teams
* Ensuring compliance with defence standards, safety and security requirements
What we are looking for:
* Proven experience designing secure systems within Defence / MoD environments
* Strong Systems Engineering and requirements management expertise
* Experience with verification, validation and system integration
* Familiarity with tools such as Jama, Jira or MBSE methodologies
* Ability to work within highly regulated, security‑conscious programmes
Ideal backgrounds include Defence, Maritime, Aerospace, Secure Communications or Complex Electronic Systems.
Due to the nature of the work, candidates must be eligible for Security Clearance (SC).
