Typically, this person will focus on driving new business opportunities within the Fire & Security sector across Hertfordshire and the Home Counties. They will be responsible for generating new client relationships, identifying opportunities for growth, and delivering value-driven Fire & Security solutions. This role is ideal for a commercially driven professional who thrives on building a pipeline of opportunities and achieving ambitious targets.

Duties and responsibilities of the New Business Development Manager Fire & Security:
Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within the Fire & Security sector
Build and develop strong relationships with prospective clients, including end users, facilities management companies, M&E contractors, consultants, and specifiers
Promote Fire & Security solutions, including Fire Detection & Alarm Systems, CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Alarm Systems, and integrated solutions
Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and tenders to win new business
Maintain CRM data, sales forecasts, and pipeline reporting
Collaborate with internal technical and operational teams to ensure smooth project delivery for new clients
Stay informed on industry trends, standards, and emerging technologies to provide market-leading solutions
Qualifications and requirements for the New Business Development Manager Fire & Security:
Proven experience in new business development or sales within the Fire & Security sector
Strong technical understanding of Fire and/or Electronic Security systems
Demonstrable success in generating new business and achieving targets
Established contacts within Hertfordshire & Home Counties advantageous
Confident communicator with strong negotiation skills
Self-motivated, organised, and results-driven
