We are recruiting for a Clinical Radiology Department Assistant (RDA) who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.
The post is based at the Lister Hospital and will include a rotation to all sites within the Trust (except Mount Vernon).

All mandatory training will be provided, with opportunities to broaden your skills through in-house training.
Annual performance reviews and appraisals will support your personal development within the department.
You will work with minimal supervision and must be adaptable in your working practices.
Some evening and weekend shifts will be required.
The department features state-of-the-art imaging equipment, including CT scanners, MRI scanners, ultrasound rooms, fluoroscopy, dexa, nuclear medicine, angiography, and general radiology units.

Your responsibilities will include preparing treatment areas and equipment, supporting radiographic staff in diagnostic procedures, assisting with special investigations and interventions, and monitoring patients.
You will explain procedures to patients, act as a chaperone as needed, and assist radiologists during specialised procedures, maintaining sterile techniques and accurate documentation.
