Care Choice North West is looking for compassionate and dedicated Home Care Assistants to support our growing client base across the Wigan borough. This role gives you the chance to make a genuine impact every day, whether you are helping someone stay independent at home or offering valued companionship.
What you will be doing
* Deliver hands on personal care, including washing, dressing and mobility support
* Assist with meal preparation, medication prompts and general companionship
* Help maintain a safe and comfortable home environment through light household tasks
* Follow individual care plans and record care provided
* Work independently and within a supportive wider team
What we are looking for
* A caring, reliable and compassionate approach
* Strong communication skills and good written and spoken English
* Previous care experience is helpful but not essential, full training is provided
* A driving licence and access to a car is preferred, not essential
Shift patterns
* Morning and dinner calls, 6.30am to 2.00pm
* Tea and bed calls, 3.00pm to 10.00pm
* Alternate weekends as part of a fair rota
* Regular rest days for a balanced working week
