We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated English Teacher to join our supportive and forward-thinking secondary school. The successful candidates will ideally be able to inspire and excite our students with their knowledge and passion for the subject, fostering a love of literature, and helping learners develop essential language skills.

The successful candidate will:
1. Teach English across Key Stages 3 and 4
2. Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that motivate and challenge learners of all abilities
3. Assess, track and support student progress effectively
4. Contribute to curriculum development within the English department
5. Play an active role in the wider life of the school
We are looking for someone who:
6. Holds Qualified Teacher Status (or equivalent)
7. Has strong subject knowledge and a passion for English
8. Is committed to high standards of teaching and learning
9. Works well as part of a team and builds positive relationships with students
10. Is reflective, organised and committed to professional development
