Our client, a leading and expanding manufacturing organisation, established for over 30 years in Tamworth, is seeking for 2 x Customer Service Advisors to join their well-established team. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a business renowned for its innovation, high-quality products, and excellent customer relationships.
Salary is between £25,000 to £27,000 depending on experience. Hours of work will be between the hours of 8:30am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday – 37.5 hours per week. Please note this is an office-based position.

Working as the Customer Service Advisor, your key responsibilities include:
Answering overflow calls from the main switchboard
Handling inbound calls and email enquiries from customers, external sales teams, and the general public
Processing internet and email orders using Sage and internal systems
Filing paperwork and managing digital archiving
Preparing customer quotes and handling sample requests
Providing basic technical support and product part information
Coordinating with internal departments on reworks of bespoke stock
Setting up new customer accounts for online ordering
Supporting with promotions and mailshots for customers in designated areas
Managing assigned regions, working directly with Area Sales Managers
Liaising with carriers to track deliveries and obtain proof of delivery (PODs)
Maintaining and updating customer records
Managing forward orders, call-offs, and projects
Monitoring service levels, building customer rapport, and resolving queries for key accounts
As the Customer Service Advisor, you will have:
A warm, approachable, and professional manner with a passion for delivering excellent customer service
The ability to remain calm and solution-focused when handling difficult queries
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage time and workload independently
A high level of attention to detail and accuracy
Experience in customer service (preferably in a fast-paced office environment)
A working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
Sage experience is desirable but not essential INDLS
