Implementation Engineer
The Implementation Engineer supports the implementation of software solutions by focusing on task execution, automation testing, and documentation. This early-career role is ideal for professionals eager to learn, develop their understanding of products, and contribute to successful system integration and deployment. The position offers opportunities to collaborate with experienced team members, gain hands‑on experience in automation.
Location
This position will be mostly for Manchester and Gatwick airports; other locations in the UK will also be possible. Will require some travel.
Your Responsibilities
* Completes assigned tasks related to software implementation, automation testing, and documentation, developing a practical understanding of products and solutions.
* Works under the guidance of experienced colleagues, asking questions and seeking feedback to support learning and growth.
* Participates in team meetings and workshops to understand project goals and contribute to discussions.
* Follows established processes and best practices for automation testing, documentation, and quality assurance.
* Maintains compliance with Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS), information security, and data privacy standards, completing all required training.
Additional Responsibilities
* Execute assigned tasks related to software configuration, automation testing, and documentation.
* Participate in designing and running automated tests, documenting test results and observations.
* Assist in preparing and updating project documentation, such as test cases, user guides, and automation scripts.
* Collaborate with team members to understand product features, integration steps, and automation opportunities.
* Support the transition of solutions to support and maintenance teams by providing clear and accurate documentation.
* Works directly with customers.
About The Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
* 1–3 years of experience in software implementation, testing, or related technical tasks.
* Familiarity with automation testing tools and frameworks, and a willingness to learn new technologies.
* Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a diverse tea and customer facing skills.
* Commitment to compliance with EHS, information security, and data privacy standard.

Due to UK regulations related to Airport activities, we can only consider candidates who have been living in the UK for the past 5 years.
