Position Overview
As a Commercial Litigation Solicitor, you will play a key role in representing clients across diverse commercial sectors, providing expert legal guidance and support. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the firm's success by delivering high-quality legal services, as well as participating in firm-wide initiatives such as training, seminars, compliance, marketing, networking, and business development.
Responsibilities
* Represent clients in a wide range of commercial litigation matters across various sectors
* Conduct proceedings in the sheriff courts and Court of Session (excluding advocacy)
* Draft clear and precise legal documents and correspondence
* Manage multiple files autonomously, ensuring timely and effective case progression
* Contribute to the delivery of firm-wide training, seminars, and compliance initiatives
* Actively participate in marketing, networking, and business development activities
Requirements
* Qualified Scottish Solicitor with at least two years' PQE in litigation
* Proven experience conducting proceedings in the sheriff courts and Court of Session
* Strong drafting skills with the ability to produce clear and precise legal documents
* Excellent case management skills and the ability to handle multiple files autonomously
* Confident communicator with strong interpersonal and client-facing skills
* Proactive and collaborative team player committed to professional development
