Laing O'Rourke (Expanded) is recruiting a Project Engineer for the Great Grid Partnership project. The role involves utilizing digital engineering models, ensuring compliance with management procedures, and managing technical and safety standards.
Responsibilities
1. Utilize digital models to create visual method statements and task sheets.
2. Implement and ensure compliance with management procedures related to temporary works.
3. Determine appropriate methods of dimensional control and ensure data accuracy.
4. Transfer setting out data from 3D CAD models.
5. Define scope for as-built surveys and ensure compliance.
6. Produce and manage Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) and ensure adherence to specifications.
7. Ensure quality procedures are followed and recommend engineering methods.
8. Design processes, produce method statements and risk assessments.
9. Manage procurement activities.
10. Lead a team of Senior Engineers as per project requirements.
Minimum Requirements
1. Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent technical qualification with relevant experience.
2. Approximately 8 years of civil engineering experience, including structures.
3. Eligibility to work in the UK or valid UK visa.
