Head of Quality Home-Based with National Travel £50,000 – £60,000 | Full-time, Permanent We are hiring for an experienced quality leader ready to shape the future of apprenticeships and skills. The Role As Head of Quality (Learning & Skills), you will lead the organisation’s quality and curriculum agenda ensuring that learners receive outstanding teaching, training, and support. You will: * Lead and inspire teams across Quality, Safeguarding, IQA, and Curriculum functions. * Oversee quality assurance, self-assessment, and continuous improvement processes across all programmes (including Apprenticeships, AEB, and ESF-funded provision). * Act as a key Ofsted nominee, ensuring compliance and readiness for inspection. * Develop and embed strategies for observations of teaching, learning, and assessment (OTLA). * Ensure inclusive curriculum design and learner support, including SEND and disadvantaged groups. * Produce high-quality reports for SLT and the Board, using data-driven insights to celebrate success and identify risks. About You You’re a confident and credible leader who combines operational excellence with strategic vision. Proven senior leadership experience in quality and compliance within apprenticeships, work-based learning, or adult education. * Deep understanding of the Ofsted Education Inspection Framework (EIF). * A recognised teaching and/or assessing qualification, ideally with IQA status. * Experience leading self-assessment reports (SAR) and quality improvement plans (QIP). * Strong stakeholder management, influencing, and communication skills. * Analytical mindset, able to use data to inform quality strategy.
