The Pauline Quirke Academy (PQA) is a weekend performing arts academy offering tuition for children and young people aged 4-18 years. Students participate in three-hour-long sessions, rotating through Comedy & Drama, Musical Theatre, and Film & Television. Crafted by professionals in the performing arts industry and education sector, our classes blend high educational value with realistic industry practices to provide the best possible experience for our students.
Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role for a Drama Teacher at PQA Stoke-on-Trent. The Drama Teacher will be responsible for teaching acting and drama to children and young people, developing and delivering lesson plans, and contributing to curriculum development. The role involves working with students to enhance their confidence and skills in performing arts through engaging and dynamic classes.
Qualifications
* Skills in Drama and Teaching Acting
* Experience in Curriculum Development
* Knowledge of Performing Arts and Teaching
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to engage and inspire young learners
* Experience in an educational or performing arts setting
* Relevant teaching qualifications or equivalent professional experience
