We are working with a group of secondary schools in Middlesbrough. Ourmitment is to support the school with cover supervisors who will be able to support their mission of providing a supportive and stimulating learning environment that ensures that every student can achieve their full potential. We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join our team on a supply basis.
Role Overview:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the continuity of education for our students during teacher's absences. You will be responsible for delivering pre-prepared lessons, managing classroom behaviour, and ensuring a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supervise classes during teacher's absences, ensuring students remain on task with their learning.
2. Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and resources.
3. Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
4. Provide support and guidance to students as needed.
5. Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.
6. Report any issues or concerns to the appropriate staff members.
Requirements:
7. Previous experience working with secondary school students is desirable.
8. Strong classroom management skills.
9. Excellentmunication and interpersonal skills.
10. The ability to work flexibly and adapt to different classroom environments.
11. Amitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
