This is a strategic role with real impact, combining commercial leadership with the opportunity to build, coach, and inspire a team that's ready for direction and development.What You'll Do:
* Lead and develop a high-performing sales team across residential and commercial solar PV and battery storage installations.
* Shape and execute a strategic sales plan aligned with market trends and company goals.
* Personally manage key accounts and high-value opportunities.
* Foster collaboration across sales, marketing, and operations to deliver a seamless customer experience.
* Use data-driven insights to refine performance and drive growth.
* Drive new opportunities into the business through proactive lead generation.
* Network at industry events to build relationships and generate leads.
* Partner with the wider Mole Valley Farmers team, including retail stores and Business Development Managers, to leverage existing customer relationships.
* Work collaboratively with the Managing Director and Marketing Manager to align sales strategy with broader business goals.
Solar PV and battery storage experience is essential, providing credibility and technical understanding in customer conversations.
* A proven track record in B2B or B2C sales, ideally within renewables, construction, or technical services.
* Strong leadership qualities with experience in coaching and mentoring teams.
* Commercial acumen and strategic thinking, paired with a hands-on approach.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trust across stakeholders.
* A natural networker with strong interpersonal skills.
