Location: Farnborough Depot, GU14 0LX Salary: £31,827 per annum (£13.60 ph) Job Type: Full time, Permanent Hours: 45 hours per week, 07.30am to 17.00pm About Us: Welfare 4 Hire is an independent specialist provider of mobile welfare units and site accommodation solutions across the UK. Mobile Engineer – The Role: This is a mobile role covering the depot’s operating region, with occasional travel to support other regions when required. You will carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on welfare units, generators and related systems. Mobile Engineer – Key Responsibilities: - Servicing, maintenance, and repair of the generator and electrical system - Servicing, maintenance, and repair of the running and towing gear - General maintenance of the unit and its systems - Electrical testing of the unit and appliances - Attend scheduled and reactive maintenance calls - General depot duties when required, including cleaning and delivering/collecting units Mobile Engineer – You: - Experience of servicing, maintaining and repairing welfare units and generators, or a similar electrical and mechanical background - Commercial driver experience with a full driving licence (including BE category) - Good driving skills, and a clean driving licence for at least 2 years - Ideally possess towing experience, and trained in commercial towing - Ideally a digital tachograph card holder and experience, and thorough understanding of relevant driving regulations - Strong communication skills, including verbal, written and professional self-presentation Mobile Engineer – Benefits - Holiday is 24 days plus 8 BH - NEST pension scheme - Healthcare cash plan - Seasonal gifts - Training & Development - Company vehicle provided We are an equal opportunities employer and are proud of our local community, we welcome applications from anyone who feels they have the relevant experience and skills required to make a positive contribution to our business.
