Our client is offering an exciting opportunity for a PCB Technologist to support the development of electronic design and manufacturing capabilities within highly complex electronic sub-systems in the Defence & Security industry. This permanent role involves working from concept through to full production and beyond.

Understanding of PCB Design, Manufacture, and Assembly technologies

Key Responsibilities
Supporting the development and evaluation of new processes and equipment at national and international levels
Collaborating with internal and external partners, including international travel as necessary
Understanding materials, characteristics, processes of circuit card assembly/printed circuit board manufacture
Assessing PCB fabrication and circuit card assembly processes via lab work and collaboration with suppliers and manufacturing centres
Supporting the adoption of agreed methodologies, including generating documented standards within teams
Participating in failure analysis of circuit card assemblies at component and board levels
This role involves working within the Electronics Engineering function to provide technical support service for internal programmes in the UK, and with non-UK teams developing new technologies across all areas of PCB design, manufacture, and assembly.
