What you’ll do

During your placement, you will provide support to subject matter experts within the team as they make key strategic decisions that will shape the future of Volvo Car UK. You’ll contribute significantly to the success and future of the brand by delivering fresh ideas and viewpoints and challenging current assumptions to meet the needs of future customers – so an innovative mindset is essential. We are currently recruiting for an organised, ambitious and driven 12‑month placement student within our fast‑paced Marketing Communication Team, to join us from July 2026, as a CRM Marketing Placement Student. Reporting to a Campaigns Marketing Manager you will be responsible for providing a variety of administrative, process management, and campaign delivery support. This role is vital for the smooth running of CRM activity, and you will be involved with the creation and delivery of key tactical and brand marketing campaigns and programmes within marketing.

You will gain valuable skills and experience in key aspects of Marketing and Customer Communications including:

* Implementation of local and global CRM campaigns and programmes – monitoring performance and developing opportunities to increase engagement.
* Build relationships with key Central stakeholders, sharing suggestions for process and campaign improvements.
* Knowledge and experience of using marketing systems and processes to successfully manage and deliver CRM communications – Salesforce, Catalyst, PowerBi.
* Gain an understanding of wider Marketing communications co‑ordinating activity for campaigns with the marketing team as necessary.
* Attain a detailed understanding of CRM activities and projects by supporting the Campaigns Manager with new initiatives and campaign reporting.

You will be currently studying towards a sandwich degree in Business Management, Operations Management or a related subject, and you will be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
