McCarthy & Stone are recruiting a Care Assistant to join the team at our Neptune House development in Worthing, West Sussex. Built in 2018, Neptune House is a Retirement Living Plus development that consists of 59 apartments designed for residents over 70, offering excellent on‑site facilities set within beautiful grounds.
Pay & Hours
Hourly rate: £13.26 per hour, with an additional £1.30 for evening and weekend hours.
Hours: 20 per week, including alternate Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
About the role
As a Care Assistant, you will provide the highest quality of individual care to our residents, enabling them to live later life well. You will deliver housekeeping and domestic support across the estate, including apartment cleans. Your duties will vary and may include supporting and encouraging residents to take part in activities that support their health and wellbeing, helping them book appointments, arranging transport, escorting them on visits and assisting with shopping.
About You
* You will be a warm, friendly individual with ideally some experience of working in a care or support environment.
* You have a passion for making a difference to the wellbeing and happiness of older people and enjoy working as part of a team in a busy setting.
* You are driven to deliver excellent customer service.
* You want to work in the Health and Social Care sector and preferably have a QCF Health and Social Care (Adults) Level 2 qualification, although consideration will be given to candidates with alternative qualifications and relevant experience.
