The Opportunity We’re looking for an experienced IT Project Manager who is passionate about technology and thrives on leading complex, high-impact projects from strategy and vision through to successful delivery and transition into business-as-usual operation. This role will take a leading position in delivering a major migration project from our current digital app and web supplier, ensuring a seamless transition, minimal disruption to customers, and maximum business value. You’ll join a high-performing, cross-functional team that includes Product Owners, Designers, Testers, and operational experts, working collaboratively to deliver projects that enhance Arriva’s digital platforms and customer experience. What You’ll Be Doing Lead and manage the UK Bus Digital App migration project through all phases of the project lifecycle. Define, develop, and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets using appropriate tools and techniques. Proactively manage project risks and issues, developing mitigation and contingency strategies. Ensure delivery against agreed scope, time, cost, and quality objectives while achieving benefits realisation targets. Produce clear and regular progress reports for senior stakeholders. Build trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders, managing expectations and ensuring effective communication at all levels. Drive continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to enhance processes and delivery capability. Ensure formal project closure and post-implementation reviews are completed effectively. What We’re Looking For A proven track record of successfully delivering end-to-end technology projects or programmes. Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and experience managing third-party integrations. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all organisational levels. Experience using project management tools such as Monday.com, Jira, or Asana. Familiarity with both Waterfall and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban). A passion for driving change and process improvement. Prince2, APM, or equivalent project management qualification (desirable). Resilience under pressure, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
