What You’ll Be Doing:
As a Senior Engineer in Nuclear Assurance, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance and safety within our nuclear programs. Your responsibilities will include:
* Identifying and conducting verification and compliance activities on behalf of the Owner of Authorisation Conditions 20 and 27, ensuring adherence to compliance arrangements is effectively monitored.
* Authorship and maintenance of the Compliance Matrix Workbooks and Compliance Verification Plan, along with reporting to the Compliance Dashboard.
* Supporting the regulatory interface by facilitating planned internal and external inspection plans, collaborating closely with NSR&I Advisors.
* Working alongside Quality Assurance, Engineering Function, Test and Commissioning, and other relevant business areas to deliver compliance verification activities as needed.
Your Skills and Experience:
We’re looking for candidates who bring a wealth of experience and expertise:
* Experience in Nuclear Regulation or Nuclear Compliance.
* Previous experience in heavily regulated industries, such as Oil and Gas.
* Background in Quality Assurance, Engineering & Manufacturing Engineering, or Product Assurance.

About the Platform Nuclear Engineering Department (PNED):
The PNED team is a dynamic group of multi-disciplinary professionals dedicated to delivering nuclear engineering capability across various reactor plant programs. While this role focuses on Authorisation Condition compliance, you’ll have opportunities to expand your knowledge and skills in nuclear engineering and project activities throughout the Engineering Lifecycle for a Naval Reactor Plant. This includes everything from Engineering Design Reviews to build, test, and commissioning activities. We also offer relocation support packages for all Submarines roles, subject to eligibility criteria.
