What will you do as a Finance Manager?
* This senior finance role requires the successful candidate to lead and manage the full financial cycle
* Oversee and manage the daily operations of the finance department
* Lead, mentor, and develop a small finance team, ensuring high performance and accuracy.
* Prepare monthly management accounts, detailed financial forecasts, and internal financial reports.
* Support and manage budgeting and financial planning processes.
* Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and internal financial policies/controls.
* Manage robust month-end and year-end processes, including complex reconciliations and accruals.
* Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and other key stakeholders.
* Provide financial analysis and insight to support critical business decision-making.
* Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance financial controls.
What do you need as a Finance Manager?
* Fully qualified accountant (Essential): ACA / ACCA / CIMA or an equivalent professional qualification.
* Proven experience in a Finance Manager or similar senior/supervisory finance role.
* Strong technical accounting knowledge and a deep understanding of financial controls.
* Excellent leadership and team management skills.
* Must be highly organised, detail-oriented, and consistently able to meet deadlines.
* Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively cross-functionally.
* Advanced Excel skills (including pivot tables, VLOOKUPS, financial modelling) and proficiency with various financial systems/ERPs.
