Palliative Care Support Worker – 37.5 hours per week
Starting salary £24,784.50 per annum

We are recruiting for a Palliative Care Support Worker to join our inpatient unit. You will be dedicated to providing professional and compassionate emotional support and personal care to patients and families.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with patient’s personal clinical care and record observations in accordance with care plan
* Ensure patients & their families experience a welcoming, relaxed and friendly environment
* Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals
* Support with admission and discharge of patients
* Facilitate opportunities for patients and families to talk and create memories

* Previous experience caring for patients
* Ability to work alone and as part of a team
* Ability to prioritise and adapt to change
* Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
* Ability to remain calm and confident under pressure
