Job Title: MechanicLocation: BlackwoodSalary: : £28,000 per annum, +£82.76 per week shift allowance which works out in total £32,303 per annumHours: Full time. Monday - Friday days regular but afternoons may be required every 3 weeksHere at The Recruitment Co we are currently recruiting Mechanics to work for a client of ours based in Blackwood. These would be full time permanent positions.They specialise within the repair and overhaul of Commercial Aircraft Thrust Reversers and Nacelles with OEM and UKCAA and EASA approved repairs.Main job rolesPerform tasks to required standards of the Maintenance Repair Overhaul and Production of aircraft components (Quality, Cost, Delivery) including compliance to regulatory requirements and standard operating proceduresAble to safely perform company duties under deadlines and handle multiple priorities whilst ensuring the airworthiness of the product and accuracy of documentation and parts controlTo support and drive projects and drive Continuous Improvement activitiesFlexible to business needs and a requirement to work various shift patterns as requiredAbility to work as part of a team and independentlyRequired ExperienceArithmetic and English (reading, writing) skills and able to follow written instructions with precision and having a high attention to detailPreference will be given to people with previous Aerospace background or painting, bonding and mechanical assembly skills.Proficient use of equipment, tools, machinery and computers preferred.Previous Mechanical experience is essentialIf you feel this role is for you then please apply now!CPNewportTPBN1_UKTJ
