Responsible Individual (Ofsted Registered) – Children's Home

We're looking for an experienced Responsible Individual to help steer our brand new children's home towards outstanding care, compliance, and culture. This is a senior, influential role where your voice matters and your leadership genuinely changes lives.
What You'll Be Doing (AKA Your Superpowers)
* Be the Ofsted-registered Responsible Individual, ensuring the home meets all legal and regulatory requirements.
* Champion high-quality care, safeguarding, and positive outcomes for young people.
* Support and supervise the Registered Manager and leadership team - coaching, guiding, and inspiring.
* Oversee placements, admissions, care planning, staffing, budgets, and performance.
* Keep the home inspection-ready at all times (Reg 44/45 reports, audits, and compliance checks).
* Build strong relationships with Local Authorities, professionals, and partners.
* Lead by example, promoting a culture of continuous improvement, learning, and high professional standards.
* Dip into on-call duties and attend key meetings/training as required.
