EAL Support Roles – Secondary Schools | Brighton & Surrounding Areas
Secondary schools across Brighton and the surrounding areas are currently looking for educators to support students with English as an Additional Language (EAL).
These roles involve working with students who are developing their English language skills and may require additional support to fully access the curriculum and engage in school life.
We are currently seeking both EAL support staff and teachers to work within secondary school settings.

The Role
Depending on the school, responsibilities may include:
* Supporting students with developing English language skills
* Working 1:1 or in small groups to improve understanding and confidence
* Helping students access lessons across different subjects
* Supporting reading, writing and spoken English development
* Working closely with teachers and SEN/EAL coordinators

Who This Role Suits
This role is well suited to individuals who:
* Have experience working with young people or in education
* Have strong communication skills and clear spoken English
* Are patient and supportive in their approach
* Enjoy helping students build confidence and independence
* Have an interest in language development or multicultural education
Experience in EAL or ESOL is beneficial but not essential.
Candidates with additional languages are highly desirable, though not required.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
