You'll work closely with teachers and wider staff to create positive learning experiences tailored to individual needs, while promoting wellbeing, independence and personal growth. What You'll Be Doing Supporting learning, behaviour and engagement in the classroom Building positive relationships that help students feel safe and understood Encouraging independence, confidence and personal development Assisting with lesson preparation and classroom resources Supporting students with additional needs, including ASC and SEMH Promoting safeguarding and student wellbeing at all times Using behaviour support strategies where required Completing accurate records and reports What We're Looking For Experience working with children or young people with SEN (paid or voluntary) Understanding of SEN, ASD, ASC or SEMH needs A calm, positive and child-centred approach Strong communication and relationship-building skills GCSE English and Maths (Grade 4/C or above) Level 2 qualification in Teaching & Learning Support (desirable) Willingness to engage in behaviour support training, including Team Teach if required Why This Role?
