As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining a positive learning environment in the absence of the regular classroom teacher.
About the role
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and manage secondary school classes during the short-term absence of teachers.
* Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure students remain engaged in their learning.
* Maintain classroom discipline and promote a positive learning atmosphere.
* Assist with administrative tasks related to student attendance and behaviour.
* Support students' learning and provide feedback on their progress.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Cover Supervisor with experience you will:
* Previous experience working in a secondary school environment.
* Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage with students.
* A passion for education and a commitment to student success.
* A valid DBS check or willingness to obtain one through ABC Teachers.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
