* Leading a sales team (field or inside sales), ideally within hospitality
* Hitting your own sales targets while managing team performance
* Acquiring and onboarding small business partners (e.g. independent restaurants and coffee shops)
* Building, managing, and forecasting a sales pipeline using CRM (e.g. Salesforce or similar)
* Coaching salespeople through call listening, objection handling, and structured development plans
* Working to clear KPIs and operating in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
Required Background
* Proven track record in sales leadership within a field or inside sales team
* Experience recruiting, signing, and activating independent business partners
* Demonstrated success in achieving personal sales quotas while driving team results
* Background in hospitality or selling into restaurants/coffee shops is highly desirable
* Strong experience in structured sales coaching: 1:1s, role-plays, and action plans
* Solid experience with disciplined pipeline management and accurate forecasting
* Comfortable using CRM tools to manage opportunities and maintain data quality
Very Important Notes
This is a hands-on "player/coach" role: you will carry a personal target alongside leading the team
The core focus is acquiring and activating independent restaurants and coffee shops into a partner network
You will be expected to prospect via phone, email, social channels, and some in-person visits
The role may expand to include additional products or services in line with future business strategy
You must adhere to company policies and standards including ISO 27001:2022, BS 10012:2017, ISO 50001:2018, ISO 22301:2019

Must-Haves
* Proven sales leadership experience in a target-driven environment
* Strong personal sales performance history and confidence carrying your own quota

* Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills with independent business owners

Bonus Experience
* Direct experience selling into the hospitality sector (restaurants, bars, coffee shops)
* Experience working with B2C, B2B, or employee benefits propositions
* Previous collaboration with Marketing on lead quality and partner messaging
* Experience working closely with onboarding or customer success teams
* Familiarity with performance frameworks and quarterly review/touchpoint cycles
Hands-On Experience With
* Prospecting and qualifying independent restaurants and coffee shops
* Multi-channel outreach: phone, email, social media, and some face-to-face meetings
* Presenting and tailoring propositions to decision-makers in small hospitality businesses
* Negotiating commercial terms and ensuring offers meet brand and compliance guidelines
* Using CRM systems to track opportunities, maintain clean data, and produce forecasts
* Monitoring and improving KPIs such as meetings booked, proposals sent, win rate, time-to-live, activation %, and early churn
* Running daily stand-ups, deal strategy huddles, pipeline reviews, and weekly "wins and learnings" sessions
* Conducting regular 1:1s, skill observations, and follow-up action plans for the team
What You'll Be Doing
* Lead a small team responsible for signing up and activating independent restaurants and coffee shops into the partner network
* Personally prospect, pitch, and close new partners, ensuring high-quality, compliant offers go live quickly
* Build and maintain a clear territory/vertical plan and allocate accounts and goals across the team
* Embed best-practice sales discipline, ensuring consistent outreach, follow-up, and conversion activity
Quality Ownership
* Own the daily rhythm: morning stand-ups, deal strategy discussions, pipeline reviews, and end-of-week reviews
* Run structured 1:1s, listen to calls, observe skills, and design targeted coaching and development plans
* Set clear expectations around outreach volumes, conversion rates, and CRM standards, and lead by example
* Track weekly and monthly KPIs (meetings, proposals, win rate, time-to-live, activation %, early churn) and intervene quickly when performance dips
* Ensure partners receive smooth handovers to onboarding/support and complete early-life health checks to reduce early churn
* Champion accurate data entry and adherence to data/privacy, brand, and offer compliance standards
Collaboration
* Work closely with Marketing to provide feedback on lead quality and refine messaging to new partners
* Partner with onboarding teams to ensure new partners receive the right support and go live successfully
* Provide clear monthly and quarterly forecasting and pipeline commentary to the Head of Product Success
