The University of Portsmouth School of Energy and Electronic Engineering are seeking to appoint a Lecturer in the area of Mechanical Engineering. We offer a portfolio of degrees in mechanical engineering, product design and innovation, engineering management, and manufacturing engineering. The post holder will work with an academic team in the School of Energy and Electronic Engineering to enhance student understanding of core and optional modules in the electronic engineering subject area. Knowledge and expertise in embedded systems or FPGA both is essential. The post holder will also be able to supervise final year and masters projects. We are seeking to appoint a well-qualified and highly motivated member of staff who will make a difference in the education of the future generations of engineers. The post holder will undertake teaching, tutorial and practical work supervision and the development of learning activities. This includes the design, delivery and administration of assessment and contributing to the excellent pastoral care across the school.
